1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Romab. By accessing or using Romab, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Romab.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Romab. Users under 13 are prohibited. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, you may use Romab only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You must be legally permitted to use the services and must comply with the laws applicable in your country or region.
3. About Romab
Romab helps users discover nearby, time-limited offers, services and events published by independent vendors.
Romab provides a discovery and communication platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Romab does not own, sell, supply, guarantee or redeem the products, services, events or offers published by vendors. Romab is not a party to transactions or agreements between consumers and vendors.
4. Accounts and Authentication
Consumers may use certain Romab features through an anonymous session without creating a visible account.
Vendors must authenticate using an available verification method and provide accurate business information. You are responsible for maintaining control of your authentication methods and for activity performed through your account.
You must not impersonate another person or business, create misleading identities, evade account restrictions or attempt to regain vendor privileges through another authentication method after being blocked.
5. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are solely responsible for their posts, business information, offer conditions, prices, availability, locations, schedules, images and descriptions.
Vendors must ensure that:
- Information is accurate, current and not misleading.
- Offers are genuinely available during their published period.
- Products, services and events comply with applicable laws.
- Images and written content are owned by the vendor or properly licensed.
- Required licences, permits, taxes and consumer disclosures are maintained.
- Expired, unavailable or incorrect content is corrected or ended promptly.
Publishing through Romab does not constitute approval, certification or endorsement by Romab.
6. Consumer Responsibilities
Consumers must independently confirm an offer’s availability, conditions, suitability, safety, price and redemption requirements with the vendor.
Distances, map locations and directions may be approximate. Users should exercise appropriate judgment when travelling to a location or dealing with a vendor.
Saved deals, alerts and notifications are convenience features and do not guarantee that an offer will remain available.
7. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use Romab to publish, promote or engage in:
- Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading activity.
- Harassment, threats, discrimination or exploitation.
- Spam, artificial activity or manipulation of alerts, saves or map results.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights.
- Malware, attempts to access another account or interference with the service.
- Pornographic or sexually exploitative content.
- Illegal drugs, weapons, gambling, tobacco or vaping products, or other prohibited or unlawfully regulated offerings.
- Offers that endanger users or violate applicable consumer-protection requirements.
- Attempts to evade suspension, blocking, publishing limits or security controls.
Romab may remove, restrict or block content or accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security or safety risks.
8. User Content and Licence
You retain ownership of content you submit.
By publishing content through Romab, you grant Romab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote and improve Romab.
You confirm that you have the rights required to submit the content and grant this licence.
The licence ends when the content is deleted, except where temporary backup retention, legal obligations, dispute records or security requirements apply.
9. Moderation and Reporting
Romab may review, limit, block, expire or remove posts and accounts. Romab is not required to monitor every post before publication.
Users may report suspected violations, misleading offers, unsafe content or intellectual-property concerns through available in-app reporting tools or by contacting hello@romab.app.
Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent loss of vendor privileges. A blocked vendor may remain eligible for consumer functionality where appropriate, but may not automatically regain vendor privileges by using a different email, Google account, phone number or authentication method.
10. Offer Availability and Transactions
Vendors may change, end or exhaust an offer. Romab does not guarantee availability, quality, legality, merchantability, fitness, pricing, fulfilment, refunds or the conduct of any vendor or consumer.
Any purchase, booking, attendance, redemption, payment, refund or dispute takes place between the consumer and vendor unless Romab expressly states otherwise.
11. Location, Maps and Directions
Romab may use device location, vendor-provided coordinates and third-party mapping services. Location information, distances, pins, routes and directions may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
Users remain responsible for following local rules, travelling safely and confirming the destination directly with the vendor. Do not interact with Romab while operating a vehicle.
12. Alerts and Notifications
Deal alerts, saved-deal updates and other notifications may be delayed, duplicated, unavailable or not delivered because of device settings, connectivity, third-party providers or technical limitations.
Romab does not guarantee delivery of any alert or notification.
13. SMS Verification
Romab may offer SMS text messaging as an optional method for account authentication and verification. If you choose SMS verification and provide your mobile number, you consent to receive one-time verification codes from Romab at that number.
Message frequency varies based on your verification requests. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
You may reply STOP to opt out of further SMS messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact hello@romab.app for help.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS availability and delivery are not guaranteed and may depend on your country, mobile carrier, device, and third-party messaging providers.
Romab uses SMS messages for authentication and account-security purposes and does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this verification program.
14. Third-Party Services
Romab may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, maps, directions, analytics and notifications. Those services may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Romab is not responsible for the independent availability or operation of third-party services.
15. Intellectual Property
Romab’s name, branding, software, interface, design and original materials are owned by Romab or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant permission to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Romab except where applicable law expressly permits it.
16. Suspension and Termination
Romab may suspend or terminate access, remove posts, restrict vendor functionality or block an account when reasonably necessary to:
- Enforce these Terms.
- Protect users, Romab or third parties.
- Respond to fraud, abuse or security risks.
- Comply with law or a valid legal request.
- Protect the reliability of the service.
Where appropriate, a vendor may contact hello@romab.app to request review of a restriction. Reactivation is not automatic.
Users may stop using Romab at any time. Available deletion controls may be used to delete a vendor account, subject to lawful retention requirements.
17. Disclaimer
Romab is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Romab makes no warranties that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure or suitable for every purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Romab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss resulting from use of the service, vendor content, unavailable offers, third-party services, map information or interactions between users and vendors.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

20. Changes to Romab or These Terms
Romab may modify, suspend or discontinue features and may update these Terms when necessary.
When material changes are made, Romab will update the effective date and provide notice where reasonably required. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
21. Applicable Laws
You are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to your use of Romab and any content or offer you publish.
These Terms do not override mandatory consumer rights or other protections that apply in a user’s country or region.
